Assistant Director of Community Ministries

Dale Kyle Head joined the program staff of Independent Presbyterian Church in 1978 as the Assistant Director in Community Ministries. Her connection with IPC and with Community Ministries began when she was on the summer staff of the Children’s Fresh Air Farm. Dale is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern where she majored in history. She earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama in 1984. Her current work at IPC centers on Social Services, which includes assistance through our food pantry and clothing closet and emergency financial assistance with utility bills and medical bills. She serves as a staff consultant to Community Ministries Committee, the Hunger Work Group, and the Children’s Fresh Air Farm Committee.
