From Jan Smith: Daughter Jenna, now 18 and graduated high school. She made the decision to attend an online college at Liberty University in Virginia. It is certainly a new experience. Her friend is already enrolled for the summer. He actually submits papers that are graded by a professor and returned to him. Jenna plans to major in Psychology and Christian counseling. We are doing the student loans, grants and whatever, its a lot of paper work. As a single parent I am worried about the cost and praying it will work out. She is also on the leadership team with The Basement and very involved at Church of the Highlands. She was able to get a good foundation at IPC through the many children's activities that foster the Christian life. I have enjoyed the many areas of children's ministries that I have been involved in over the years. She is a beautiful girl and I am blessed beyond measure.
Lochrane Smith (daughter of Lochrane and Mell Smith) graduated from the University of Richmond in May, 2010, with majors in Classical Civilization and History. She has just begun training for a position as a sales agent with New York Life Insurance Company.
