Junior Choir: (Grades K-3rd)
“Discover, Explore, and Develop”
Junior choir is a training choir. Children will learn basic musical and worship skills that will assist them to enter more advanced rehearsal-based choirs in church and the community.
During our time together, we will play musical games, drum and play Orff instruments, and engage in vocal exercises to “discover, explore, and develop” their voice.
Correct sitting and standing postures as well as breathing techniques will be practiced.
Anthems and songs will also be rehearsed each week for worship or presentation.
The Junior Choir (K-3rd grade) meets during the school year for 30 minutes every week on Wednesdays from 6:45 - 7:15 p.m. in Room G-20
We sing for special holiday services: Choir Dedication, Noon Nativity, and Palm Sunday.
